Charlie (Luke Sholl) had big dreams. But when his off-Broadway career falters, he finds himself in the suburbs struggling to get by. He hires an AI voice acting coach, Alan (Tim Gleason), whom he soon falls in love with and marries. Their roommate, Doug (Chris Snyder), has a habit of inviting lost souls to crash in their living room. When Doug invites Travis (Trevor Lovitz), a social media-addicted sailor who’s desperate for connection, Charlie must fight to hang on to his last ember of a dream.
