The Cast
We shot “The Big Break” in August 2024 with a deliberately small cast. Because we’re a microbudget film, every actor was chosen for their specific skills and background. Two actors had never acted before, and the entire cast met each other the night before filming began. What tied everyone together was their connection to the director, Avi Setton.

LUKE SHOLL
"CHARLIE"
Luke grew up in Kennebunk, Maine where he started making funny videos at a young age. In high school, he realized his passion for acting while performing regularly in the school plays. Upon graduation, Luke moved to NYC to study acting at Marymount Manhattan College. Luke trained in improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theatre. In 2009 Luke was cast in his first CollegeHumor sketch and continued to act in over 100 videos. He moved to LA & booked more TV roles. Luke currently lives in Atlanta.
